A nodder is a collectible item wherein the head is bigger in comparison to their physical structures, and is attached by spring and hooks, allowing them to wobble. The creation of this item was popularized fifteen decades ago, inspired from the story written by Nikolai Gogol which was entitled as The Overcoat.

In 1990, new production approaches allowed them to be created with ceramic materials, leading to minimal expenditures and issues. It was in 1999, where another baseball team from San Francisco created customized figures with the face of their ace player. In the middle of their game, they started distributing the souvenirs that became a hit for baseball collectors and fans.

This happening, together with their lesser costs for production, are origin of their fast and strong renewal, in which the markets were advertising figures with a resemblance of prominent icons, celebrities, and individuals. By the year 200, they were able to build numerous variations including the computer sitters, mini bobbleheads, and nodder banks, together with air fresheners. Numerous businesses have adapted to custom tailored dolls and presented them to several patrons.
