The disclaimer is stating that this is not an article about 5 high school kids discovering more about themselves after a day in detention. Here we have a bunch of people, strangers, who go out of their way, thrice a week to eat breakfast together. It sounds a bit odd but think about it. Bacon and friendship looks like a deal no one has the heart to refuse.

Friends who take the time to get a the most important meal of the day with you, are no doubt the best. Breakfast Club St Catharines, ON fosters the this with their members. They do this thrice a week at a local Angels Diner. The diner has a wide variety of meals from morning to evening.

Their selection of breakfast meals are vary from omelets, eggs, waffles and so on. This menu is a good enough reason to go out in the morning and eat with a new found friend. The interior of the diner is reminiscent of vintage vibes and are adorned with a 50s theme, record player and vinyl included.

The main reason for creating this club is to encourage socialization among those who are older and do not see socialization as important anymore. These is to erase the tendency of older people to stop socializing and isolating themselves in the comfort of their homes. This usually leads to depression and other unexpected health deteriorating effects.

Ironic how when a person grows older their number of friends decrease. This is due to many factors like distance, time and eventually, the nature of mortality. These breakfast buffs of St.Catharine ON choose to break the mold of how older people are expected to socialize. In a world that would rather prefer to shut others out, genuine friendships can be challenging.

This makes the whole a group of people eating a meal as the sun rises a really good idea for those who want to learn how to socialize but are too shy. It seems impossible to imagine anyone who would be in a bad mood when there is great breakfast food around. This makes it sound like the ideal opportunity to meet and mingle with a new crowd.

Real friendships extend to more than just exchanging the juiciest gossip around town. Moreover, it does not limit to sharing the same interests. Being friends with a person who can assure you their company and trust is something everyone should have until the end of their lives. As social creatures, humans are programmed to survive better and longer by associating themselves with other humans.

Studies show that even just engaging in a ten minute conversation, that is not argumentative in nature, can boost the solving and cognitive functions of the brain. Being friendly with others can improve our mental functions because we try to see the perspective and interpret what they say. Isolation due to growing older may dull the necessary brain functions that is exercised by socializing.

In the long run, people that socialize have a higher chance of being healthy and living longer. Citing the study mentioned earlier, socializing can also keep mental health sharp. This aids in avoiding psychological illnesses like depression and even dementia.
