You will also have to rent a booth and have portable equipment to cook or keep certain items warm as well.

It is common practice to hire a caterer to bring in meals and snacks, especially if they are hosting all day affairs. You can make a lot of money, if you decide to go after this market. You will need staff, and you won't need to worry about creating exotic dishes. Simple food is the safest bet.

Industrial catering is a huge business, but one that can be hard to get into. This is a specialized field that caters to hospital, school, and airline cafeterias. It might take a while, but if you can get one good client, the business will be steady and long term. You will have to sign a contract every year or six months. The serving is normally done by in house staff.
