The word bitter is loosely translated to mean resentment, anger, pain, disagreement and reactivity, among other nasty words. The taste is bitter but it comes with immediate relief.

Health experts have recommended the use of bitter in calming heart burns. It also works perfectly to curb sugar craving and ensure that blood sugar levels remain healthy. It further aids in the absorption of fat soluble vitamins K, E, D and A. Other health benefits of bitter include regulating bowel movement and easing constipation. It ensures that your appetite is balanced at all times.

They include a laxative effect which prohibits one from using them in case you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea.
